Leaders in Private
Markets Summit 2025

Overview

The Aztec Group Leaders in Private Markets Summit 2025 was an exclusive, invitation-only gathering held at The Spiral building in New York City on 25 September and Frameless in London on 12 November.

Bringing together senior executives from across private capital and alternative investment firms, the summit served as a high-level forum for insight sharing, debate, and networking among the industry’s most influential leaders. Discussions centered on how macroeconomic shifts are shaping fund strategies and asset classes, the transformative role of technology and AI across the private markets lifecycle, and the growing importance of investor experience, from onboarding to reporting.

Additional sessions explored operational excellence, outsourcing, and regulatory change, ensuring the event covered the key area shaping private markets today. The event highlighted that while data, transparency, and digital innovation are redefining the industry, trust and human relationships remain at the core of long-term success – positioning the summit as a key platform for charting the future of the industry.

Aztec Group approached AMPD to provide interactive avatars and generative videos for the high-profile New York and London events.

At the beginning of each event, Aztec wanted to survey the audiences using Slido and create generative blockbuster-style short films that summarised the collective sentiment of the room – blending creativity, technology, and data storytelling to close the day with an emotional, cinematic highlight.

The client also wanted to use the latest AI to produce innovative, interactive, human-like avatars – digital twins of key members of staff – for panel debates about AI in the industry during breakout sessions. These avatars were presented on large screens and responded to questions asked live by their human counterparts.

  • Demonstrate innovation and thought leadership: Showcase Aztec Group as a pioneer in integrating AI and storytelling within financial services event experiences.
  • Drive engagement and memorability: Create interactive and emotionally resonant moments that spark conversation and position Aztec as a forward-thinking brand.
  • Humanise AI: Use digital-twin avatars to explore the role of AI in the industry in a relatable, entertaining way that highlights human–machine collaboration rather than replacement.
  • Deliver rapid generative production: Produce cinematic-quality films within a two-hour turnaround during the live event, proving the power and agility of generative AI workflows.
  • Enhance post-event visibility: Generate content that could be shared internally and externally to amplify the summit’s themes and extend its reach beyond the live audience.

AMPD produced two blockbuster short films that visualised the audience’s responses to the survey questions: What do you view as the biggest challenge to overcome in the year ahead? and What’s the one thing that excites you the most about the future? These films were written, generated, and then edited during the live event, and premiered before closing drinks and networking.

New York

A Cowboy-style journey aboard an old pirate ship enduring high seas before arriving at The Spiral building in New York, where the event was taking place.

London

A Peaky Blinders-inspired journey through London’s 1920s streets to the modern day, culminating outside Frameless in Marble Arch, where the event was taking place.

AMPD used Veo 3 and Veo 3.1 for video generation, 11 Labs for voice synthesis, Suno for music composition, and CapCut for real-time editing.

AMPD created three interactive digital-twin avatars using D-ID, 11 Labs, and ChatGPT-5 (heavily customised). This included synthesising each participant’s videos, training their 2.0 avatar on its personality, tone of voice, humour, subject matter expertise to authentically mirror their human equivalent, plus setting up the virtual avatars online.

500+ senior industry attendees engaged across both cities.

95% of post-event survey respondents rated the AI experiences as “innovative” or “highly engaging.”

70% of participants said the AI showcases made them view Aztec as a “tech-forward leader in private markets.”

The generative films were shared internally and on social media, achieving over 10,000 views in the first week post-event.

The avatar Q&A sessions generated over 300 live interactions across both events.
